Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 small yellow bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Gourmet Garden™ Cilantro Stir-In Paste
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden™ Garlic Stir-In Paste
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden™ Jalapeño Stir-In Paste
- 15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
- ½ cup chicken broth, low sodium and fat free

Preparation
- 1 Add olive oil to a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook 7-9 minutes or until softened. Add Gourmet Garden Cilantro Stir-In Paste, Gourmet Garden Garlic Stir-In Paste, Gourmet Garden Chili Pepper Stir-In Paste, black beans and broth to pan and cook 2 minutes or until warmed through.
- 2 In a blender or food processor, pulse black bean mixture until blended but still slightly chunky.
- 3 Add blended black beans back to the sauté pan over medium heat. Simmer for 5 more minutes, stirring frequently.
