Ingredients
- 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 large sea scallops, (about 1 pound)
- 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden™ Garlic Stir-In Paste
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Gourmet Garden™ Lightly Dried Basil

Preparation
- 1 Brush scallops on both sides with Garlic Paste; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in large skillet on high heat. Place scallops in skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, until golden brown on both sides, turning only once and adding remaining oil, if needed.
- 2 Sprinkle with Basil just before serving. Serve over cooked rice, if desired.
